They are currently recruiting for the position of Financial Analyst, based in London. Job Description Coordination of Mid-Term-Planning input from various sources Support compilation of JV budgets and managing differences to the internal budgets Working closely with the Senior Accountant to provide quality checked data to Finance Managers for monthly Cash Calls and monthly internal financial reporting Coordination of funding process with finance team in other locations Define the new interfaces with other E&P departments like accounting, tax, treasury, law resulting from the re-organization of support functions in organisation Manage international insurance requirement for the projects in alignment with risk consulting Responsible for the set-up and reduction of bank guarantees Contribution to the special projects on behalf of organisation (like SAP implementation project "GLOBE") Supervision of the time writing process Documentation of existing processes and the development of new guidelines Responsible for archiving key finance/commercial data Collect, review and distribute input for weekly and monthly management report Support external and internal audits Responsible for contribution for E&P risk management system Cost input and quality control for project economics Skills & Experience University degree in the area of Business Administration or Financial Management with excellent grade Significant professional experience in Finance related job areas. Good knowledge of the E&P business and of the Oil & Gas Joint Venture principles Good understanding of joint venture activities and the Upstream value chain Ability to compile/analyse financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Appreciation of accounting processes and understanding of book keeping fundamentals, also in the SAP system Ability to work both in (international) teams and individually Talent to work under pressure and with tight deadlines Precision to detail Ability to document work Fluent in English, French would be an advantage Flexibility to work in overseas locations from time to time This is a permanent position.
