This new dynamic structure has brought with it an additional vacancy for a Supplier Relations Analyst. This position is to support the Logistics Team in ensuring efficient and cost effective solutions, maximising competitive advantage through providing continually evolving and leading solutions for customers.

    The Supplier Relations Analyst, sitting primarily as part of the Supplier Relations team, will support the entire Logistics team in gathering, interpreting and presenting data to assist in building and implementing plans for change. This position requires someone who has the drive to understand and make changes quickly. Although the role provides the opportunity for the successful candidate to further develop their analytical, project participation and presentation skills, these skills are a pre-requisite of the role. It is also important to have the ability to drive the position forward in a demanding and fast-paced environment.

    The ideal candidate for the role will demonstrate drive and ambition for future development and also to collaborate with both the local and global team's where required. It's important to have both analytical ability and the ability to work with the broader business in understanding both qualitative and quantitative data.

    - The successful candidate must have a clear understandinvg of all aspects of the supply chain in order to ensure they can fulfil the main responsibilities of the role which include;

    - Data analysis and interpretation with explanations appropriate to audience.

    - Conducting internal and external presentation to a variety of audiences including Senior Management, Suppliers, Internal and External Customers.

    - Working to set deadlines, ensuring communication with all stakeholders.

    Skills and Experience

    - The ideal candidate for this role must have;

    - Experience of working in a similar analytical role.

    - Excellent IT skills, specifically Microsoft Office and SAP.

    - Customer management experience in a Logistics, supply chain or commercial environment.

    - Ability to interpret various volumes of data and subsequently present persuasive proposals.

    - Management of and/or participation in cross functional project groups.

    - Identification and implementation of change with tangible customer benefits.

    - It's desirable that the candidate holds a relevant formal qualification in a logistics or similar specialism.

    - Travel: Travel forms part of role therefore a valid UK Passport and Driving Licence are required.

    This is a permanent position.

    The position will be responsible for overseeing a large scale project from design through to fabrication as well as coordinating the activities of a site based Planning Engineer.
