Job Description

Experienced Service Rig Hands - Canada

Our client is a leading Drilling Contractor with an international presence. They are currently looking to recruit experienced Service Rig Hands. With rigs located across Canada they have multiple opportunities for Floorhands and Derrickhands.

For the roles candidates should have the following profile:

* Minimum industry certifications are required
* CAODC Competency completion is an asset
* Valid and clean Class 5 License, with airbrakes
* Minimum of 6 months experience in role
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Safety screening
* Good team working skills

    Working with the team in preparation of detailed drilling cost estimates and drilling programs, selection of equipment and services for operations, and logistics coordination Supervising drilling operations and ensuring that Husky and Regulatory policies and standards are adhered to Communicating with business unit contacts to ensure program objectives are met Ensuring that all field costs are reported and reconciled Coaching and mentoring junior staff Researching industry technology and methodology to ensure state of the art programs Reporting on progress to Business Unit contacts and the Drilling Manager Being available to share supervision duties, take calls and problem-solve outside regular business hours Visiting field locations to inspect and review operations (±1 days per month), and other visits as required with local communities and regulators
