Constantly liaise with on and offshore personnel to re-prioritise activities as appropriate. Good understanding of materials and corrosion Extensive industry experience in maintenance, maintenance support and valve management either within an operating organisation, engineering contractor or vendor. A good working knowledge of hydrocarbon processing and associated support systems. Familiar with each of the individual types of valves used in the petrochemical industry, including(but not limited to) gate valves, ball valves, plug valves, mechanically/pneumatically actuated valves, check valves, and choke valves. Experience in significant failure investigations and elimination is desirable Experience in planning and managing significant repair and scope of work is desirable SAP experience or similar computer based maintenance system Understanding of Vendor/Equipment supplied data sheets Experience in reading and understanding Piping & Instrument Drawings This is a permanent position.
