Key Requirements

Urgently required, a Manager Project Risk Controls for Perth, Australia. Generous uplifts and allowances. The role involves: Plans, organizes and carries out risk reviews on proposals and projects while liaising with appropriate business units, project personnel and corporate departments. Manages and leads the development of project risk assessments involved specifically in evaluating the commercial and technical aspects of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction phases, for the Hydrocarbons & Infrastructure Business Units. Develops Project Risk Management Strategies that are tailored to meet the requirements for medium to large EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) projects ranging from 100m to $15b. Leads analytical work to identify, assess and quantify risk for key project decisions. Creates and reviews stochastic/probabilistic models (what if scenarios) using Pertmaster and Crystal Ball to assess schedule and cost variability to risk events. Train project teams in developing risk registers and provides guidance in the development and implementation of risk response plans and monitoring activities. Actively prepares training materials and conducts risk management training workshops for project learns. Position has regional budgetary type accountabilities * MUST be available for short-term international business travel.
