They are currently recruiting for the position of Marine Structures Engineers, based in Perth or Brisbane. Position Overview The role revolves around numerous marine projects for on the East & West Coast of Australia, including a number of Container Port Upgrades plus studies for Liquid Fuel Facilities. The scope of work will vary from conceptual to feasibility studies as well as detailed design and project delivery which will include preparation of reports, specifications and contract administration of port upgrades. Skills & Experience Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering with a considerable to extensive post graduate experience A passion to mentor junior engineers and drafting team members Ability to liaise professionally with Clients and Authorities Preparation of engineering designs, specifications and reports on maritime structures and facilities Strong client focus and a willingness to learn Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical report writing Demonstrated exposure to project development and/or delivery in the Queensland market Excellent understanding of Australian Standards Ability to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team Proven ability to deliver appropriate engineering solutions within a specified time frame RPEQ or CPEng status For the right candidate our Client will pay a market related salary or hourly rate in line with experience. To be sucessful in this role you would have between 5 and 8 years experience within a Mechanical Engineer role, ideally within the Coal sector. Your background shouyld include Project Engineering and Operational experience. You will join a team of upto 40 staff and work autonomously to ensure the smooth running on the projects.
