    They are currently recruiting for the position of Quality Engineer based in Aberdeen.

    Responsibilities include:-

    Assist project process owners in Quality Management - data collating/analysis/trending reporting (as necessary).
    Participates in the internal audits schedule, preparing, reporting and closing out audit reports and actions resulting from the audit.
    Provide input and support the subcontractor/supplier evaluation processes and monitor subcontractor/supplier performance.
    Assists in external audit activities.
    Follows up with actions resulting from external audits with a view to fast tracking closure of non-conformance.
    Drive close-out of non-conformances listed on action tracker, identify trends or overdue actions and report updates to the Quality Manager/Lead when requested.
    Participates in root cause investigation of customer non-conformance.
    Suggests and negotiates with the Quality Manager/Lead improvements to invert negative trends impacting the project.
    Participates in project meetings as necessary to support function delivery.
    Maintain Quality Information on company's Share point Portal as required.
    Liaises with project team members to facilitate fast track closure of product / service non-conformance.
    Completes quality professional assignments agreed by the Line Manager to support career development.
    Complete Assigned CQI modules (if necessary) defined in the Personnel Development Review.
    To report promptly to the Quality Manager/Lead all matters related to Project Quality Management System performance.
    Ensure that all necessary quality records are identified, controlled and retained in accordance with project, client and regulatory requirements.
    To participate (as necessary) in activities relating to Project QMS Improvement Initiatives.
    Undertake, as necessary, awareness training in the project Quality Management System, procedures and applications.
    Prepare and present QMS power point presentations upon request.
    Provide QMS performance data as requested by the Quality Manager/Lead for reporting purposes.
    Support / promote quality initiatives implemented to achieve project deliverables.
    Pro-actively identify and report potential non-conformances (Preventative Action) in order to prevent their occurrence.

    Skills & Experience

    - Experience working for major Oil & Gas Operators in fabrication yards in a client HSSE role.

    - NEBOSH certificate or Diploma, or equivalent recognized safety qualification.

    - Good understanding of Control of Work/Permit To Work during both construction and commissioning periods
