NEED TO BE ANGOLAN RESIDENT • Proven experience on GE Frame 5, 6 and 7 • Mechanic Engineer Degree or Technical High School. • 4+ years related work experience in Oil & Gas industry maintenance or installation field activities. • Ability to understand and implement mechanical drawings (RC section dwg; RC and auxiliaries construction dwg; P&ID). • Good knowledge of English and Portuguese language. • Strong analytic and problem solving skills. • Good interpersonal & organizational skills. • Good computer skills.
Lead and execute Installation or maintenance of Reciprocating Compressor ensuring to follow GE recommended procedures. Supervise the mechanical installation activities of main and auxiliaries equipment. Ability to perform the reciprocating compressor pre-commissioning and commissioning. Lead and execute gas turbine inspection with dis-assembly and assembly of external and internal casings, bearing, rotor and perform the relevant dimensional check and alignment check. Lead and execute gas turbine inspections (CI, HGP, Major), overhauling of combustors, casings, bearings, shrouds, vanes and blades and all other internal parts. Perform small mechanical repairs and carry out any machine works at the machine tools in the workshop (lathe, mill, grinding machine). Assist Start-up Engineer during the commissioning phase ensuring proper and safe operation of the machine by evaluating the running parameters and troubleshoot control system problem as they arise. Write accurate professional reports acting as single point of contact between Customers and GE Oil & Gas Headquarter concerning technical issues and interfacing with all involved functions. Use company e-tools to retrieve technical documents and management of packing list, bill of material and drawings. Ensure all in-field activities carried out safely complying with company environmental health & Safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures. The candidate will be responsible to keep reliability of Customers assets and to support on a proactive way all GE O&G customers.

The Field Service Engineer will be in charge of site activities management including planning, assigning manpower resources and tools, providing technical assistance to complete the work scope according to contractual requirements.

NEED TO BE ANGOLAN RESIDENT Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering At least 4 years of experience in a Field Services Control role Fluency in English+ Portuguese Knowledge and experience on GE MK6 & MK6e control systems (MK5 is a plus) Knowledge about Gas Turbine GE Frame 5 process Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision Strong customer service mindset Prior field engineering experience is preferred Strong organizational skills Strong oral and written communication skills Experience in leading site construction & maintenance activities

Assist customers in scheduling maintenance and workload assuring that equipment and parts requirements meet established schedules. 8. Review reported malfunctions and identify / analyze any undesirable trends. 9. Make recommendations on findings, reviewing effectiveness of maintenance actions in order to identify future needs. 10. Anticipate requirements beyond those that immediately affect the program and assist in implementing actions to satisfy those requirements. 11. Use initiative and experience to interpret, and communicate significant market intelligence and sales opportunities for both assigned programs and ongoing customer support.

The Resident Control Field Service Engineer is responsible for technical direction and safe site leadership of onsite installation, operational maintenance, testing and start up activities on GE Oil & Gas, Gas turbine controls & instrumentation systems in accordance with engineering best practice and contractual work scope requirements primarily within a designated customer site
