NHV Helicopters Secures Contract for Buchan Well Abandonment Operations in the Central North Sea

NHV Helicopters Ltd, a prominent player in offshore helicopter services, has recently clinched a major contract to support Buchan Well Abandonment operations in the Central North Sea (CNS). This contract, awarded by WellSafe Guardian Limited on behalf of Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Limited (RSRUK), solidifies NHV's position as a reliable provider of safe and efficient air transportation solutions for critical offshore operations.
The agreement will involve NHV operating its cutting-edge H175 helicopters to perform approximately four flights per week as part of the Buchan Well Abandonment operations. Set to commence in mid-September 2023, this contract reaffirms NHV's commitment to maintaining high standards in the offshore industry.
These flights will be facilitated from NHV's base in Aberdeen to the offshore Buchan Field situated at the heart of the CNS. This strategic connectivity will enhance operational efficiency and support the seamless transportation of personnel and equipment to the project site.
