Viking Supply Ships has entered into new contract for the Ice-breaking Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel Vidar Viking.

The final option of the existing contract for the vessel Vidar Viking, which secures work until December 1, 2015, has been exercised.

Furthermore, Viking Supply Ships has entered into a new contract with an oil and gas company for “Vidar Viking” starting December 2, 2015 in direct continuation of present contract. The duration of the new contract is for 8 months firm, plus options to extend the contract with a total of 6 months.

According to Viking, the contract value for the new contract including options is around $45 million.
