Job Description
Senior Assistant Offshore Technician – We are currently looking for a Technician to join the Well Test Crew in all aspects of operations offshore. Reporting to the Senior Technician you will be responsible for organising the equipment in “on site” operations in accordance with agreed programmes and contractual requirements. This role requires adhoc offshore trips, sometimes at short notice and occasionally may involve overseas travel.
The successful candidate will be required to perform in the following functions:
• Operate and have sufficient working knowledge of Well Test equipment including data, sampling, and gauge equipment
• Pack and load out equipment
• Ensure equipment is rigged up, pressure tested and ESD System function tested.
• Perform risk assessments for equipment not covered by generic assessments
• Attend pre and post test Client Meeting and Complete Rig Surveys
• Assist in the base, creating reports, packing Kits etc.
The ideal candidate will have 18 months – 2 years previous Well Test experience and will have a Mechanical background, however job specific training will be given.
