Key Requirements
• Engineering or telecommunication degree and
• minimum 10 years of working experience in Oil and Gas Industry
• minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunication engineering
• FSU experience would be an advantage.
Job Description
To provide review and approve the specification, design and supply of telecom equipment and systems in Onshore and Offshore facilities, ensuring that it meets project objectives, industry standards and best practice for safety, reliability and cost.
The job holder is responsible for:
• Selecting the best technical/economical solutions and products for telecommunications equipment for onshore and offshore facilities
• Telecommunication equipment overall design integrity and compliance with international standards, company guidelines and engineering best practice
• Telecommunication equipment concept and engineering design
• Preparing ITT documentation and bid technical review for Telecommunication equipment
• Reviewing Contractors Telecommunication design
Reports to the Telecommunication Project Engineer.
