Our Client, an internationally renowned Construction & Engineering Consultancy, focused on bringing excellence to construction schemes around the World is currently seeking Senior Project Managers to lead major Civil Engineering Construction programmes in the Middle East. They are looking for experienced Project Managers to work on high profile projects based in Iraq.

Key RequirementsThe ideal candidate will be comfortable in a client – facing role where they will be managing the successful delivery of a high – profile project. As Project Manager, you will have a detailed understanding of planning, design and procurement as well as delivery on time and on budget. You will be fully accountable for the success of your project, with ownership for the creation of strategic delivery plans that enable you to lead your multi – cultural teams in creating lasting and breath - taking commissions. You should be comfortable working in the Middle East, ideally having a successful track record of construction schemes in the region. You will be a confident, commercially aware and articulate person of immense integrity.
Job DescriptionHaving been commissioned to deliver projects including high – end residential complexes, hotels and a large shopping centre in locations across the Middle East, they have an urgent requirement for Project Managers in Iraq. Bachelor Degree in Chemical/Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineer from reputable university with more than 12 years of experience, preferably in the refinery or petrochemical industry for corrosion control
Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods and design details. Working knowledge of Company standards Proven knowledge in corrosion management and material selections in refinery or petrochemical environment. Knowledge in water treatment will be a plus. LiveSenior Contract Engineer
University degree (B.Sc. Engineering or equivalent) Minimum of 5 years relevant experience and at least 2 years of experience on pipeline projects Knowledge of international standard forms of projects/construction engineering and operating company maintenance contracts including claims resolution and mitigation Hands on experience with relevant software incl. Provide high quality advice on all pre-contract matters including contracting strategies. Setting-up, negotiating and monitoring Contracts and Frame Agreements in the most economically advantageous manner, in accordance with corporate procedures and statutory regulations. Prepare and seek approval of commercial and contractual correspondence. Develop tender documentation, coordinate input from user groups and provide contractual terms and conditions applicable to the services. Input on contract matters to support and assist Procurement Department to award contracts. Review Purchase orders and invoices for payment, in accordance with the appropriate agreements and advise the Project Manager and Functional Head. Verifying invoices in relation to Contracts and Frame Agreements. Reporting to and advising the Project Manager. Liaises with Legal and Finance Departments when required in relation to contractual and commercial requirements. Support the tender development and tender evaluation process including on and offsite tender clarification meetings with contractors where necessary. Support award and contract formalities in accordance with the Companies Corporate Procurement process.
