    * Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent. Degree in related field is preferred.
    * Must have 5+ years of experience in mechanical field service specifically pumps.
    * Proficient in the repair of large, high-end, single stage and multi-stage pumps; laser alignment, rigging and pump seals.
    * Experience in leading large crews.
    * Experience in removal and installation of pump bases (Epoxy grout including pressure grout)
    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    * Computer experience with MS Word and Excel.

    Precision Assembler- is responsible for all processes related to disassembly and assembly of high energy pumps and decoking equipment. The PA follows instruction from an SOD (Sales Order Draft) and router to perform DCI (Dismantle Clean and Inspect) and gives a written description of the wear and condition of critical components. Uses inspection equipment to check dimensions of all critical components and translates the number (in decimal) form to the appropriate inspection form related to the pump. Ensures all components are properly cleaned and free from foreign material following our FME (Foreign Material Exclusion) procedures. Ensures all forms and documentation are adequate and pictures have been obtained prior to submission to the production planner for quotation. The PA will also follow instruction from an SOD and multiple routers to perform the assembly of the pump once the repair has been released to the shop and all components have been replaced or reconditioned and marked ready for assembly. The PA will assemble the pump following assembly procedures specific to the product, complete all inspection forms taking pictures of all critical components, and uses inspection equipment for proper documentation of the assembly. The PA will paint, install all tagging, and prep the pump prior to shipment to the customer. This position reports to the lead and the Manufacturing Manager, located at our Deer Park, TX facility.
