    Deliverables

    The Job Holder will:

    * Support and advise the Project teams through the procurement of goods and services for potentially complex or high risk requirements

    * Manage the Project teams through the sanctioning and validation process

    * Manage the selection process of suitably qualified and experienced contractors in line with the EU Procurement Directives, NDA and site procedures

    * Develop contracting strategies for high value/risk procurements

    * Provide post contract management support and advice including variations, complaints, claims and disputes that arise with the supply chain

    * Negotiate settlements to claims

    * Manage the framework contracts



    Essential/Desirable Skills

    Quantity Surveyor qualification and experience

    CIPS Chartered

    Contract Management Experience

    Mature NEC contract experience

    Experience of operating in a construction and engineering background
