Due to a major restructuring of several of my clients divisions the position of Senior/Lead Mechanical and Piping Engineer has become available. The role is fulltime based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The purpose of the role is to Guide, perform and supervise Pipe Stress Analysis and Pipeline Stability Analysis, detailed design & development of piping design details. Guide and perform design analysis for static, dynamic and other mechanical equipment accessories

Key RequirementsDegree in mechanical Engineering
10-15 years experience
Strong English reading and writing skills
Strong working knowledge of CEASER-II, Intergraph’s PDS, CAD
Job DescriptionReview and analyze Project Specification and documents. Guide and supervise Pipe
Stress Analysis etc. using softwares, etc. and conduct detailed design &
development of drawings details (namely: Piping Plan/Section
Details/Isometrics/Hydrotest Diagram/Tie-in Schedules, etc.). Develop/prepare
Piping Specifications, Bill of Materials including material requisitions etc. Provide
guidance/assistance to Design Engineers for Design Analysis. Conduct scheduling,
monitoring and co-ordination with other design discipline/proponents etc. and ensure
conformance with project requirements. Co-ordinate with GES Contractor, review
engineering deliberables, interact with client & resolve technical issues. Monitor
progress, control man-hour, conduct quality check and approval of Design
deliverables. Provide guidance & support to Estimation, assist in preparing MTO
(when required), & develop pre-bid Design Details as required. Guide & support
Procurement, conduct Technical Evaluation of Proposals, recommend alternatives
for cost savings. Organize/assist in preparation of documents required for final handover
of project. Guide/support & participate in start-up, commissioning, testing, shutdown
activities etc. as per project requirement.

We are currently seeking an experienced automation process control engineer, working with a large EPC company currently carrying out a project in on the Jazan refinery.
Xellient are currently representing a global engineering, management & construction company, currently working as an EPC contractor on Saudi Aramco's new Jazan Refinery.
The successful candidate will have, 7-10 years, hands on Experience in the Industrial Automation Industry as a Instrument & Controls Engineer / Process Engineer, mainly in Honeywell design Experience DCS, ESD, MPS/PDP Hardware and have worked at a senior engineer level in at least two comparable size projects in the above role, with Middle East experience (Xpat), experienced from design to commissioning.
With a strong understanding of Saudi Aramco Standards & International Standards, key duties will include:
- Provide relevant comments to MAC deliverables during PDR/ CDR/ FAT/ FAT Phases of the Project and ensure accurate implementation.
- Design/commissioning and troubleshooting (foundation fieldbus technology)
- Verify the selection of correct models of relays, power supplies, circuit breakers, terminals, isolators, cables, cable trays
- Honeywell HMI Display Builder graphics cycle development
- Design of safety instrumented systems
- Usage of Process Control Philosophy, Logic Diagrams, Control Narratives, and Communication Protocols for e.g. Modbus TCP/IP, OPC, Serial RS- 485, RS-232 and HART, along with preferable experience with Primavera, AutoCAD or Micro station.
- Working with PCS interfaces with Motor control center
