    An experienced Pipeline Welding Inspector, is required to join our client's team in Kazakhstan.

    A Pipeline Welding Inspector being part of the site verification team should have recognised discipline qualifications, e.g. HND, or equivalent with suitable experience in Pipeline Construction in the Onshore and Offshore Oil and Gas industry. Certification to CSWIP, or ASNT, or other International Qualifications Schemes is required.

    The ideal candidates meet all the below described requirements; however candidates who are biased either to Welding or to NDE will also be considered. In all cases, the specific capabilities and knowledge should include the following, as a minimum:

    - Theoretically conversant with all aspects of Pipeline Welding Engineering and Inspection techniques, or theoretically conversant with all aspects of Pipeline NDE techniques

    - Interpretation of radiographic film for quality and acceptance criteria

    - Working knowledge of ASME IX (, or other International Standards for Welding and Qualifications) and ISO 13847 (, or other International Standards for Pipeline Construction) and their associated reference standards. Certification to CSWIP, or ASNT, or other International Qualifications Schemes is required.

    - Working knowledge of ASME V and VIII (, or other International Standards for Non-Destructive Examination). Certification to CSWIP, or ASNT, or other International Qualifications Schemes is required.

    - Familiarity with the review of material test certificates, pre-/post welding qualifications/documentation to ensure compliance with project specification requirements.

    - Familiarity with reviewing of WPS against their associated PQR's to ensure compliance with project specifications and enforcing of adherence of same.

    - Familiarity with carrying out selected audits on quality systems, corrective action logs, systems audit reports and NDE reports at intervals during production.

    - Familiarity with carrying out selected survey duties) to confirm that construction and testing activities meet project specifications, codes and international standard requirements.
