Job DescriptionCoberon Chronos Consulting's client is a leading engineering multinational responsible for one of the largest energy infrastructure projects in Central and Eastern Europe.GIS handling and administration of project documents produced by the Owner’s Engineer (OE) and Local FEED Engineers (LFEs) and later by the Construction Contractor at stages of both Front End Engineering Design and Construction of Cross Country Natural Gas Pipeline (EU Countries Section only) as per ASME B31.8 and/or EN 1594 and API standards.
• Provide high quality technical support in GIS discipline in respect to Right of Way (ROW) engineering activities to technical PMT at project FEED and construction phase.
• Supervise the quality of the GIS activities related to Right of Way (ROW) engineering within the following areas;
- All design activities pertinent to ROW discipline
- Analysis and methods
• Ensure that the OE and LFEs are implementing their duties properly related to GIS Model as described in their SOW covering;
- Route design
- Constraint mapping
- Project standard technical sheets and drawings
- Geo-referenced raster images with different scales and 3d topographical model
• Ensure that the relevant design rules and procedures are complied with project applicable standards.
• Ensure that the relevant construction activities are complied with project applicable standards
• Develop and co-ordinate the works in GIS discipline.
• Liaison with respective engineer(s) of Owner’s Engineer (OE), Local FEED Engineers (LFEs) and Construction Contractors, exchange of views and co-operate in GIS related matters.
• Review OE and LFEs and construction contractor’s project deliverables (route arrangement drawings, route maps, alignment sheets, as built setc.) related to ROW engineering discipline.
• Monitor technical performance / competence / progress of Engineering Companies and Construction
• Develop, maintain, consolidate and use, as required, engineering softwares related to GIS / ROW engineering discipline.
• Consolidate Company’s experience in GIS / ROW engineering discipline

Responsibilities will include:
Adhere to Network & Security Architect infrastructure design and configuration standards for the installation, configuration and on-going management of the LAN, WLAN, WAN and perimeter security infrastructure across the company
Adhere to the IS Call Management Process for the logging, tracking, and resolution of problems recorded
Maintain the integrity of security infrastructure and mitigate against identified threats and vulnerabilities in order to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of data and devices
Provide assistance to the Network & Security Architect in both design review and technical evaluation of network & perimeter security technologies deployed throughout the organisation
Manage the Firewall policies, Rule-bases and Application Blades across the organisation, design and implement new rules as and when required to meet business requirements
Develop and manage remote access standards, to include Juniper/NGFW/Site-to-Site VPN's/DMVPN & user access
Maintain consistency of device hardware, configurations, profiles, standards and naming conventions across the organisation
Maintain proactive monitoring, logging, fault resolution, system upgrades, administration & maintenance, security, IOS patching, backup management / system recovery of the infrastructure
Produce system performance/capacity statistics, diagnostic information as well as site "as built" documentation for the supported infrastructure

Previous experience in a network engineering role
HND/Degree qualifications are favourable, professional technical accreditations from industry bodies are preferred
Oil industry experience is favourable
Willing to go offshore for ad hoc visits
Maintain knowledge of relevant current and emerging technologies through literature, conferences / seminars, and professional networking with other leading practitioners and professional bodies
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is preferred
Experienced in the installation, configuration & ongoing support of core network/security technologies and products including but not limited to CISCO Nexus 7K & 5K series switches, 4500X series switches, 29xx/37xx series switches, 29xx series routers, ASA firewalls, VPNs, as well as wireless controllers and access points
Experience with Juniper SA appliances and Checkpoint NGFW Firewalls would be advantageous
Experience with offshore telecoms would be advantageous
Offshore Medical & Survival Certificates preferred
