    Your day to day job duties will include;

    Identifying areas of technology of interest and relevance and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base within the company in the chosen technologies.

    Ensuring that all projects work to the expected technical standards and benefit from the highest level of technical expertise within the company.

    Working with the Technical Manager on the planning of strategy, skills training and investment areas for the department.

    Supporting the business development process by contributing to presentations and providing the technical view during client discussions.

    Supervising the work of a team of engineers and mentor engineering staff where required.

    In common with all the company engineering roles the role of Electrical Design Engineer is fee earning and it is a fundamental, mandatory requirement that the declared utilisation factor for the role in terms of billable hours is consistently achieved. The current client portfolio includes operations within numerous industries on high profile projects including Oil and Gas, Petrochemical manufacturing, infrastructure, power distribution and entertainment.
