A UK based company operationg in the oil, gas, water and energy industry are looking to employ a well qualified HSE Advisor to be based full time in St Fergus Aberdeenshire.
Salary: Circa £30k

Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will act as the main point of contact for HSE for the companies site at St Fergus. The role will also involve offering HSE support on site and for 3rd party organisations. You will also act as first aid team leader across the site.

Prepare and deliver weekly offshore HSSE report and lead any weekly offshore/onshore safety call
Prepare material for and attend daily safety briefs and town halls.
Ensure quality, consistency of heli brief safety message and content.
Create an end of trip written handover and conduct a verbal handover with oncoming incumbent
Ensure Offshore HUC Manager is updated of any risk to delivery at the earliest opportunity
Ensure all worksites are left in a safe condition & all tools & material are removed to suitable locations as per permit requirements
Administrate any safety recognition awards
Interface with Platform HSEC, Medic, and Flotel equivalents
Identify daily weekly risk and hazards emerging from detailed understanding of imminent work activities, and identifies SIMOPS issues

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior H&S Advisor, based in Aberdeen
Responsibilities will include:
Manage the competency levels, training, professional development and performance management of your assigned Environmental Advisor (Core Assets), Technical Safety Engineer, site based HSEA's and site based project H&S Advisors (as required)
Provide H&S related information, advice, training and support of campaigns
Support the implementation of the site specific HSE Improvement Plans
Monitor, maintain, review and develop HSE&A Systems
Facilitate Investigation of incidents and follow-up of lessons learned
Provide specialist support to site based HSE Advisors
Ensure compliance with relevant Company wide procedures and standards
Provide specialist health and safety advice to the Company and Contractor personnel
Liaise with necessary stakeholders to coordinate communications and site inspection visits with the regulator.
Monitor quality of Synergi incident reports and provide incident summaries for VHP and HP events.
Monitor progress and completion of corrective actions arising from site related Incident reports.
Record, measure and trend analysis of H&S performance in line with KPI's

Skills & experience
Well rounded work experience preferred, with significant direct experience in either oil & gas operations or onshore support role closely linked to oil & gas operations
Previous experience as a Health and Safety Advisor for an offshore operator
Knowledge and understanding of the UK regulatory regime
Supervisory Management Skills
Appreciation of Human Factors and Major Accident Hazards ( Causation and Prevention )
Strong facilitator of improvement and change management.
Strong working knowledge of operations - Inc oil& gas processing, water treatment, utilities, logistics/marine, and preferably drilling/well operations.
