Job DescriptionAs the Welding Engineer you will be Involved in the research and development of new methodologies in pipeline welding applications, developing work scopes, supervise the execution of work, evaluating the welds, testing and reporting. You will provide expertise in the areas of GMAW, P-GMAW, FCAW and assist in the development of new products. Other tasks will include:
• Welding and consumable project definition
• Defining best welding methodology for tenders and projects
• Liaison with client welding engineers
• Management and coordination of welding qualification activities
• Liaison with external parties to perform mechanical testing of welds for procedure qualifications and consumable evaluation
• Provision of any guidance for project QA/QC personnel and method statements for on going work requirements

Position/Contract Details This is a full time contract. Specific location is set at interview because you will be placed where your skills set is most needed. Locations include the provinces of Madinah, Al-Qassim, Eastern Province, Asir, Tabuk, Hail, Northern Border Region, Jazan, Najran, Baha and Al-Jouf. The contract is single status and is administered on a 12 month renewable basis. There are three paid leave periods of two weeks per year. Note this is not a rotational position. Employment is with Saudi Employment Contractor named Al-Jehat Company (JATCO), who will be your sponsor. JATCO are very well established with UK Management. Remuneration Package Salary is set at interview and is based on your inpidual qualifications and experience. However as an indication basic salary Circa $70,000 - $110,000 USD per year Tax Free. Loss Prevention Engineer Crisis Management is expected to develop crisis management plans that will address industrial and non-industrial incidents as well as natural disasters in order to assure Saudi Aramco’s ability to operate optimally in a crisis. The required Crisis Mgmt.
