Key Requirements

You will have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. An advanced degree is preferred. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) license or registration will be desirable but is not essential. NACE Certificate is preferred.

You will have minimum of 10 years of process engineering experience preferably in shale gas facilities. Also, you will have a good knowledge of the modular skid mounted process unit. Experience in gas processing systems such as compression, gas sweetening, dehydration, and NGL recovery is compulsory.

As a subject matter expert you will have a detailed knowledge of industry standards and procedures such as API and ASMI codes is required to support the review of company standards, project reviews, and implementation of plant modifications to process systems. You will also have experience with creating/modifying PFDs, P&IDs, schematics, and piping diagrams as well as knowledge of HYSIS and other process simulation software.

You will have experience with process equipment and systems field installation, commissioning and testing, as well as troubleshooting process equipment and systems failures, including pumps, compressors, pipe line/piping, and dehydration systems.

Job Description

As a Process Engineer, you will be required to perform the following:

Provide day-to-day technical support to the Operation and Maintenance organizations to troubleshoot and fix process equipment.
Develop the engineering designs packages for the new installation and upgrade projects.
Review project proposals and detailed designs package for new facilities.
Participate on the testing and commissioning of the new facilities and turnaround and inspection (T&I) activities.
Update and maintain engineering documentation and drawings.
Analyze system performance and find solutions for energy savings
Ensure quality, and cost effective and timely solutions to any upgrade.
Test and pilot new technologies.
Ensure full HSE compliance.
Report and analyze key performance indices.
Make recommendations for technical/economic optimization of existing facilities.
Lead feasibility/profitability studies for new facilities.
Contribute to business unit strategy.

    Job Description

    The Company is one of the largest global design, project management and engineering organisations and has been contracted to act as the main supplier of FEED services to Saudi Aramco. They will manage all aspects of the project, including the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) providers. They are now building multiple teams of Project Managers and Specialists to work with them in ensuring the high quality of service delivery that they are renowned for. You may work at the Company’s main office or at one of the EPC offices, which are all in close proximity. You will be contracted through the Company for a guaranteed 5 year period with a potential extension of 4 years. Al-Khobar is a large city located in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the coast of the Persian Gulf and is linked to Bahrain via the causeway. The Company provides for single status and cannot assist with marital related visas or costs. This is a residential position (i.e. not rotational) and the Company provides 22 – 28 days holiday (depending on grade) plus you are entitled to all of the Saudi Public holidays (circa 10 - 14 days) which provide ample time to visit family.
