Job DescriptionWorking as a Structural Design Engineer you will be proven in post-tensioning project design delivery utilising strong technical and design skills. Qualified to tertiary level you must possess a career to date designing post-tensioning buildings and warehouses in Australia.
Key responsibilities as a Structural Engineer in this post-tensioning building Structural Engineering role include;
Design and detail of post-tensioning on building projects
Produce final designs to relevant codes and specifications
Working closely with clients, contractors, engineering managers and drafters
Design software skills - Rapt, RAM and AutoCAD
Full clean driver's license

LEAD OFFSHORE PLANNER required by our Client, an International Oil & Gas Operator, to be based in Perth, Australia on a contract hire basis. DURATION:12 months POSITION SCOPE As Senior Offshore Planner you will be responsible for ensuring that all planning activities have satisfactorily incorporated the requirements of the project and the appropriate regulations. This also extends to the provision of effective construction planning and the co-ordination of the project teams including our contractors and sub-contractors. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. To provide a complete planning, control and monitoring service to the Offshore project facilities team, covering all contractors and associated sub-contractors. Co-ordination of planning effort provided by contractors and supervise/assist their planning engineers in developing Lv 3 schedules Develop and maintain the overall offshore integrated schedule which sits in the Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Closely monitor all aspects of the schedule, appraise & advise the Project Services Manager of progress and trends; make recommendations for preventive or corrective action in the event of any deviations from the program. Liaise with the contractors and associated sub-contractors planning engineers; with regards to the status of agreed deliverables. Present clear and concise planning documentation and reports on a regular basis, inclusive of bars charts and networks. Attend progress/Co-ordination meetings Provide an independent assessment of inpidual contractors progress Assist the Operations team in development of a completions/systems handover and commissioning schedule Maintain close integration with Project Control groups in other locations and input as required.
