Job DescriptionWorking as a Structural Design Engineer you will be proven in post-tensioning project design delivery utilising strong technical and design skills. Qualified to tertiary level you must possess a career to date designing post-tensioning buildings and warehouses in Australia.
Key responsibilities as a Structural Engineer in this post-tensioning building Structural Engineering role include;
Design and detail of post-tensioning on building projects
Produce final designs to relevant codes and specifications
Working closely with clients, contractors, engineering managers and drafters
Design software skills - Rapt, RAM and AutoCAD
Full clean driver's license

Flexibles and Umbilicals Engineer, required by our client, a multi-national Oil and Gas Operator, to be hired on a contract basis, located in Perth, Australia. Duration: 12 months POSITION SCOPE The role of Flexibles and Umbilicals Engineer will provide support to the Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (URF) team by reviewing and oversight of the URF EPCI Contractor installation of flexibles and umbilicals scope with particular focus on vessels activities. Reports to: Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (URF) team PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES Conducting all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures Providing reporting function towards the Mooring and Hook-up Installation Lead Package Engineer for all flexibles and umbilicals installation activities. Ensuring the development of a cohesive and fit for purpose URF Package engineering related to installation of flexibles and umbilicals. Reviewing and commenting on internal project documentation and external consultant/contractor project documentation. Leading / participating in all aspects of installation engineering process and offshore installation execution process (e.g. Design Review, HAZID / ENVID, constructability / installability) Providing technical advice for all aspects of flexibles and umbilicals transport / installation interfaces through execution phase. Providing support to Mooring and Hook-up Installation Lead Package Engineer and Flexible/umbilical / Mooring and Hook-up Installation Engineers with wider topsides installation interface issues Representing the URF group in relation to technical issues, such as the transport and installation of flexibles and umbilicals EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience in flexible riser / umbilical systems installation within the O&G industry to include experience working in client team on EPCI / EPCM contracts and working with relevant internationally recognized design codes/ standards. A strong ability to review installation calculation notes and detailed work procedures in compliance with codes and specifications requirements Previous experience managing interfaces with floaters / topside facilities for riser pull-in, connection and testing Excellent written and spoken communication skills with the ability to work with different disciplines and cultures Willing to travel as required for business both domestically and overseas including offshore campaigns.
