Job DescriptionOur Client provides a Logistic base for deepwater, Offshore Oil & Gas Operations
They are expanding their team and are looking for an experienced Base Manager to join them.
Minimum 10 yrs in the offshore oil and gas support/logistics environment
Good experience in contract administration
Good knowledge of marine and aviation matters
Good knowledge of logistics scheduling and planning
Good knowledge of International Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
Experience with international shipping tendering, marketing and administration
Good experience in financial management
Good communication and presentation skills in English
Good people management skills
Strong Leadership and Mentoring Skills
Able to interact and negotiate with Senior Managers in multinational companies
Able to enforce best practice in the Company through encouragement and zero tolerance
Familiar with Nigerian / African environments
Overall operational management of our clients Logistics and Engineering Base:
• Planning strategic direction of the company and its service offering
• Provision of Logistics Services including management of:-
o Shared services amongst clients
o Harbour/quay activities
o Ship and rig repair
o Offloading and loading of cargo / personnel from vessels and helicopters
o Reconciliation of bulk supply to vessels and offshore facilities
o Open and under cover storage facilities + Stock and materials control
o Hazardous and non-hazardous Waste
o Maintenance of plant and equipment
o Selection and management of sub-contractors
• Liaising with and marketing to current and potential clients
• Generation of new business lines
• Base Administrative and Corporate Governance set-up
• Contract management
• Compile annual budget / Cost control and income monitoring
• HSEQ(Health, Safety, Environment and Quality)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Engineering.

Our client provides transport related services to company's fleets throughout the Uk area and are looking for an enthusiastic Accident and Maintenance Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis.
To provide support to the Accident and Maintenance Team Manager in the day to day running of the department.
- To monitor and action all modules of the 1Link Service Network system in order to ensure that the focus is always maintained on costs control and vehicle downtime.
- To ensure that all work authorised is in accordance with manufacturers servicing schedules and industry recognised times whilst paying attention to vehicle histories, contract type, contract duration, warranty position and client specific procedures.
- To ensure breakdown and recoveries are directed to appropriate network repairers in accordance with departmental procedures.
- To compile and manage a list of monthly reports for the purpose of updating the board report, and any other key measurements to ensure that the Accident Management and Maintenance departments are working within agreed parameters.
- To action and manage any customer concerns raised against the department or its PSP network through to satisfactory conclusion.
- To ensure that any reports required for client review meetings are compiled within agreed deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
- To carry out all specified administrative tasks according to operational procedures, to include (but not limited to) service bookings, downtime management, recall notices and invoice processing.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience of a Client Services Management&/or Fleet Management environment within industry
- Team leader experience
- knowledge of Fleetware and 1 Link
- Relationship management experience
- City & Guilds or equivalent NVQ Vehicle Studies

LiveConstruction Oversight Engineer (Pipelines) IDRIS PMC - Doha, Qatar
Play an integral part of the CpM Programme Management team and be responsible for assisting the country of Qatar to deliver one of the largest waste water projects in the World. The Inner Doha Resewerage Implementation Strategy (IDRIS), is a 9-year, $multi-billion critical infrastructure programme designed to replace the existing sewerage system in Doha, where 90% of Qatar's increasing population resides. Reporting to the Deputy Programme Manager for Design and Construction, you would be holding one of the four Senior Construction Oversight positions on the Programme and will be responsible for overseeing the design-build delivery of the Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) return system pipeline contract. The project consists of twin 1400 mm pipelines in cut and cover trenches with a total pipeline length of 25km. As Construction Oversight Engineer you will lead a construction supervision consultant to supervise, administer and inspect the delivery of the TSE Pipeline. The position will also coordinate the support of various staff of CpM’s PMC (engineering, programme controls, health and safety and others) managing the full IDRIS programme. Minimum Qualifications As a successful candidate you will be degree qualified in an engineering discipline, preferably civil or mechanical and have at least 10 years of experience in construction delivery covering major projects including large water or waste water pipeline systems. Candidates from an oil and gas pipeline construction background can also be considered. Previous consultant work is essential with the ability to successfully manage construction projects to the satisfaction of the client and key stakeholders, while simultaneously ensuring that business and policy expectations are met in the areas of health and safety, quality, financial, delivery, and risk management You will also be competent in interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and leading perse teams in a multi-cultural environment leading by example with integrity and candor. Preferred Qualifications Suitable candidates will also hold Professional registration/certification i.e. (Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer, etc).
