Job Description

Employment type: 12 month contract
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Saxony-Anhalt, Germany
Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience and suitability for job

My client is looking for a cleaning validation consultant with good experience of cleanroom qualification, risk assessment and commissioning.
The role entails practical implementation of validation and qualification of liquid parenterals.

The ideal candidate will have:
*Minimum BSc in Chemical Engineering or other relevant discipline
*Experience of cleaning validation including CIP and SIP
*Hands on experience with parenterals
*Fluency in German

Experience of SIP of lyophilisation would be beneficial.

    Job Description

    - Reporting to the Supplier Quality Lead, The Supplier Quality Engineer is primarily responsible for managing all aspects of Supplier Quality within the supply chain.

    - The SQE shall have a solid understanding of the supply chain business processes and have the ability to influence across the wide range of functional groups, both internal and external, to ensure business success.

    - This inpidual is the prime interface with suppliers on all quality matters.

    - To establish a robust and sustainable solution to quality problems in purchased products / services.

    - To identify, assess and manage potential supplier quality issues in order to pro actively minimise risks and prevent exposure to supplier induced quality issues.

    - The role requires flexibility, with visits to suppliers and other sites worldwide.

    - Investigation and timely resolution of supplier quality issues, driving root cause analysis through use of processes such as 8D and Taproot©.

    - Regular analysis of supplier performance, supporting the Supply Chain department in the generation of KPI scorecards.

    - Develop improvement plans to drive long term supplier performance improvement with the aim of mitigating product quality risk.

    - Generate and maintain Incoming Inspection Plans and Inspection Flags so that an appropriate level of inspection is undertaken at Goods Inwards Inspection, commensurate with supplier performance and product complexity/quality requirements.

    - Understand project and customer contract requirements and ensure necessary flow down to suppliers for compliance.

    - Understand supplier requirements for quality, ensuring that supply timely and accurate information through drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

    - Organise and facilitate Design for Manufacture programs between suppliers and engineering groups for key produucts.

    Qualifications

    - Engineering Degree or equivalent.

    - Formal training in the ISO 9001 Standard.

    - Lead Auditor.

    - Demonstrable relevant experience of working in a QA department, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry but not limited to (other industries background will be welcomed such as automotive, aerospace, etc.)

    - A recognised Quality Assurance or Quality Management qualification, would be a plus.

    This is a permanent position.

    To report promptly to the Quality Manager/Lead all matters related to Project Quality Management System performance.
    Ensure that all necessary quality records are identified, controlled and retained in accordance with project, client and regulatory requirements.
    To participate (as necessary) in activities relating to Project QMS Improvement Initiatives.
    Undertake, as necessary, awareness training in the project Quality Management System, procedures and applications.
    Prepare and present QMS power point presentations upon request.
    Provide QMS performance data as requested by the Quality Manager/Lead for reporting purposes.
    Support / promote quality initiatives implemented to achieve project deliverables.
    Pro-actively identify and report potential non-conformances (Preventative Action) in order to prevent their occurrence.

    - NDE R&D to develop and/or evaluate new NDE techniques that can be used to inspect pressure equipment in refineries, chemical plants, Pipelines, and Offshore Topsides and Subsea,

    - NDE technician qualification,

    - Field QC of NDE contractors, and 6) shop audits and mill assessments.

    Skills & Experience

    - BSc or graduate degree in Engineering or Physics,

    - Considerable experience as an ASNT Level III in UT, RT, PT, and MT,

    - Considerable experience as an ASNT Level II in ET (note: Level III in ET is strongly preferred),

    - Extensive experience in the oil & gas industry,

    - Extensive experience in ToFD,

    - Considerable experience in Phased Array UT,

    - Previous field inspection experience in ECT,

    - API QUTE certification,

    - Knowledge and experience in industry codes and standards such as ASME BPVC Sec V and VIII, B31.3, API 510, 570 and 653, 10) skills in writing and oral communication, and 11) skills in MS Excel, Word and PP.
