Qualifications : Engineering HND (or equivalent), minimum 10 years experience in oil and gas and at least 5 years in planning.
Experience in onshore and offshore petrochemical projects for at least 10 years.
Experience in working directly or indirectly for a major oil company
Experience in preparing and executing control procedures for both cost and planning
Experience in Project start-up sequence and logic planning
· To provide a full planning, work management and analysis of the contract assigned.
· To ensure plans are tracked and reported. Highlighting and offering solutions to problems.
· Be pro-active in all matters relating to Cost, Planning and Risk Analysis.
· Maintain all plans in readiness for monthly reporting.
· Ensure that all interfaces are identified, agreed and reviewed on a weekly basis.
· Ensure that all short term critical tasks are reviewed on a weekly basis.
· Assist in the development and maintaining of the department budget cost estimates.
· Maintain close liaison with other Agip KCO departments associated with Kashagan Development.Responsible for training Kazakh personnel when requested
Competences Familiar with both project and corporate contract and finance procedures
Knowledge of computer based planning tools e.g. Primavers P3e, P5
Familar with planning probabilistic and associated software
Familar with the operational aspects of offshore platforms and Drill Rigs
Ability to work without supervision
Ability to initiate and promote the discipline of cost/planning with other engineering/operations departments
Ability to prepare strategy plans to ensure that the planning tools are capable of meeting the company's business needs
Ability to assist in management reviews of existing Appraisal work activities
Ability to create/update planning estimates/control methods and procedures to reflect the latest engineering and project execution philosophies
Familiar with the requirements and structure of Integrated Planning

Role Description: To support the definition, implementation and delivery of Control, Electrical and Instrumentation (CE&I) engineering work (specification, analysis, verification and assessment of engineering).
Duties: * Selects design approaches and guides development of pragmatic, fit-for-purpose CE&I designs. * Identifies appropriate engineering standards and practices to be used for the delivery of work. * Manages the generation of design deliverables that define and preserve the design intent and are organised and align with the plant configuration. * Assuring compliance of work packages (by self or assigned personnel) with company, legal, regulatory and business requirements by verifying and accepting, on behalf of the site. * Providing assurance of the adequacy and integrity of the functional engineering work packages. * To collaborate in the selection and development of optimised, balanced and practical design solutions balancing aspects of safety and environmental performance, operational effectiveness and constructability. * Carryout effective and proportionate risk management and assurance activities including CE&I and multi-discipline engineering or design reviews, especially in relation to novel techniques or solutions which carry significant financial, technical, design or programme risk. * Promotes and facilitates best practice for the sharing of discipline-specific LFE between the project and across the site
Essential Skills / Qualifications: * Graduate (min 2:2) in relevant CE&I discipline * Substantive relevant experience in the nuclear industry). * Wide knowledge of procedures and methods relevant to his/her field together with full understanding of underlying principles. * Self-motivated with proven ability to deliver safe solutions and a track record of delivering for customers * Excellent verbal and written communication skills Essential Experience: * Electrical distribution (low voltage) * Process instrumentation * Machinery safety Desirable Skills /Qualifications * Possession of appropriate professional qualification (Incorporated or Chartered Engineer) * Membership in an appropriate professional institution * Experience in design and operational radiological safety assessment and the ability to deliver safety advice and guidance on a wide range of engineering projects and operations support.
