Job DescriptionMain Accountabilities
*You will be required to communicate to members of the PMT quality matters, and ensure they are effectively managed according to project standards and expectations.
*You will maintain strong relationships with client quality representatives, and handle any inquiries and issues.
*You will conduct client satisfaction surveys on clients.
*You will promote a quality culture on the project, ensuring only best working practices are implemented
*You will lead, develop and implement project audits and quality plans
*You will assist in identifying project objectives and metrics (KPI), ensure reporting procedures are in place, you will analyze performance, and propose corrective or improvement actions.
*You will facilitate feedback through the project lifecycle
*You will assist all discipline teams in the development and approval on project procedures including QCP and ITP
*You will conduct training on quality awareness.
*Conduct and participate in risk assessments.
*You will put into place a system to ensure the use of only approved sub-contractors and suppliers are used.

Comfortable working in a multicultural environment. *A high degree of computer literacy. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. *Ability to prioritise demanding workloads. *A proven track record of managing workovers to achieve added production/value. Materials and Processes. Proficiency in materials selection and integrity management, pipeline integrity management systems, international codes and standards such as CFR49 pt 192 & 195, BS, ISO, ASME, API, OSHA, NACE, and EMMUA. Demonstrate skill in the review, interpretation and utilization of gathered data for operational integrity and ILI pigging activities using UT, MFL and Tri-axial tools. ? Integration and System Design. Computer-Aided Manufacturing, design and simulation of manufacturing systems, lean manufacturing, flow charts and proposal design. Application of operations management techniques to transform inputs utilizing operational practices and techniques into specified requirements. Proficiency in the use of ERP systems and CMMS databases to provide greater efficiency in managing asset maintenance and integrity activities. ? Product Engineering and Quality. Proficiency in Assets Integrity Management, topsides pressure equipment, pipelines, risers, coatings and insulation, offshore platforms, FPSO, refineries, onshore facilities and petrochemical plants. ? Technical Proficiency. Proficiency in the use of Norsok and Cassandra and other proprietary software such as Hydrocorr and Questar. Utilize Correlate & Electronic Corrosion Engineer (ECE4) for corrosion rates calculations and studies. In depth knowledge of inspection and integrity management databases such as AIMS, PRISM, NEXUS, COABIS, Visualworks, Credo, Pacer, T-OCA, CAPCIS CRA “Engine”. ? Project and Operations Management. Budgeting, management of 3rd party vendors, supply chain risks mitigation, review and approval of AFE’s, QA/QC audits, HSE reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, FMECA, Reliability Centered Maintenance, Fault Tree Analysis, Lifecycle asset management methodologies amongst others. ? Strategic Management: Review and proffer solutions for medium to long term integrity/maintenance management issues viz proposed medium to long term CAPEX/OPEX budgets for asset. ? Technical knowledge in metallurgy, welding, heat treating, and material specifications is required ? Shall have Welding and NDE knowledge of CuNi, Aluminum, CRA Overlay, DSS, SDSS, INCONEL, INCALOY etc. ? Shall have experience in welding high pressure/high wall thickness pipes/piping and vessels. ? Ability to interface with, and influence, a wide variety of contacts, including Contractors and Vendors. ? Be able to communicate effectively with contacts of different cultural backgrounds. ? A strong and committed team player. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED ? Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Welding Engineering or Metallurgy. ? Demonstrated proficiency in Materials selection, Metallurgy/ Welding and at least 10 years relevant Materials and welding engineering experience in oil and gas industry.
Review topsides materials selection and pipeline corrosion assessment and material selection report, review offshore/onshore pipeline corrosion basic of design, corrosion management system selection report-offshore and onshore. ? Review integrity management plan, offshore corrosion control philosophy. ? Review design specifications (coating, welding, hydro testing, chemical management) and other pipeline and topsides integrity documents ? Develop welding techniques, procedures, and application of welding equipment to problems involving fabrication of metals, utilizing knowledge of production specifications, properties and characteristics of metals and metal alloys, and engineering principles. ? Assist BU, Projects to analyze and solve Materials/Welding issues. Conduct investigations on welding/NDE issues and develop solutions to improve current welding methods, techniques and procedures. ? Establish welding/NDE procedures to guide production and welding and NDE personnel relating to specification restrictions, material processes, pre- and post-heating requirements which involve use of complex alloys, unusual fabrication methods, welding of critical joints, and complex post heating requirements. ? Provide input during engineering phases on constructability, weldability and inspectibilty of designs. ? Evaluate new developments in welding field for possible application to current welding problems or production processes. May perform experimental welding to evaluate new equipment, techniques, and materials. ? Involve in material selection in relation to product and Company requirements when requested. ? Advise and implement new weld process, interpret client requirements as requested. ? Review and approve Construction Contractor's / Vendor WPS & WQTR. ? Advise, provide input, and monitor Contractors and Vendors to verify compliance with applicable Welding requirements, standards, codes and legislative regulations. ? Liaise with BU, projects, engineering and other functions on welding / materials related matters on a daily basis. ? Witness and qualify welding/NDE techniques. ? Train welders, welding inspectors and NDT technicians on weld failure analysis and eliminating weld defect problems. ? Support in development and monitoring the implementation of the Project Quality Management System, including Quality Plans and procedures, to cover fabrication / construction, installation and commissioning. ? Support in developing and monitoring the implementation of the Project internal Audit Plan & Schedule for all project phases and participate internal / Contractors audits. ? Attend Contractor Pre-Inspection meeting to communicate the Welding, NDE Quality requirements. ? Identify non-conformances, monitor and verify corrective actions and recommend areas for improvement. ? Supervision of Weld / NDT data input to the Project tracking system and prepares / Analyse welding repair rate.
