Key Requirements

Supervision: Directs, control and supervises the activities of assigned personnel involved in operating the oil and gas cluster production facilities, including starting-up/shutting down the gas and oil treatment units and gas production wells, first line maintenance, housekeeping …etc.

• Operation activities:
o Monitors and supervises through the Control Room facilities the operation of crude and gas production/treatment plants to meet the Company's oil/gas production targets in terms of quality and quantity.
o Supervise the preparations of oil and gas equipment for routine, break down and planned maintenance activities as per established procedures.
o Trouble-shoots minor operation problems and reports major problems and emergencies to Oil and Gas Operation Team Leader with proposed solutions.
o Evaluate daily pertaining equipment performance, prepares production reports and recommends to Team Leader for improvement.

• Work Control:
o Supervise and participate in preparing the plant/equipment for maintenance work.
o Issues hot, cold and entry work permits and isolation Confirmation certificates for all routine planned and break down maintenance work.
o Supervise and personally participate in re-commissioning of the plant to ensure safe and efficient.
o Monitor and evaluates the reliability of plant equipment and plant performance.
o Ensure appropriate implementation of the developed OPERGUID procedures for all plant operation and maintenance activities and ensure regular evaluation and update of procedures for optimizations and safe operation.
o Ensure availability of spares and chemicals stocks including review of chemicals and material inventories, maintaining adequate stock and issuing material requisitions.

As the Subcontracting Coordinator, you are responsible in your discipline for the overall coordination of the parts that are outsourced. This means continuous communication, monitoring progress, and reporting. Based on the engineering specification, you advise on which project should be carried out by subcontractors, and how, and check that this is actually done in practice. You safeguard the quality, quantity, and costs that have been agreed on in the production planning phase. You keep a close eye on any irregularities, such as additional work and overtime.

    You ensure that every requirement that is to be fulfilled at completion is actually fulfilled, including those relating to documentation. You report to the Subcontracting Coordination Manager, and you act in coordination with the Project Manager.

    Skills & Experience

    - Senior secondary vocational education (MBO) course, specialising in E&I, and you have significant recent and relevant experience in a similar position.

    - Knowledge of electrical engineering that has been acquired during construction work in the marine or oil and gas sectors.

    - Experience with successfully coordinating and steering projects (e.g. as a foreman or supervisor) and you have knowledge of production techniques and technical drawings.

    - Good computer skills (MS Office/ERP systems) and you have a good command of written and oral Dutch and English.

    - Skilled communicator, assertive, and proactive.

    - Excellent at planning and coordination, and you are very highly driven.

    This is a permanent position.
