    Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Proposals Engineer, based in Aberdeen.

    Main responsibilities will include:
    Project Manage response to Invitation to Tender, Request for Quotation and Pre-qualification projects
    Produce ITT, RFQ and pre-qualification responses that clearly communicate agreed tender strategy and unique selling points

    Collate information needed to cmplete project costing
    As required generate Request for Quotations for third party supplied equipment and services
    Liaise with third party subcontractors/suppliers in order to obtain rates applicable to the scope of work issued within the ITT's/RFQ's
    Analyse subcontractor/supplier submittals with regards to cost and commercial matters; forward any technical queries to relevant Service Line department for their review
    Compile technical descriptions and drawings as required to support tender submission
    Prepare and implement methods to assist in the working methods used in the preparation of costings for ITT's/RFQ's
    Prepare cost/pricing spreadsheets with regards personnel, equipment, consumables and sub-contract services for work based on the ITT requirements using standard formatted spreadsheets
    Manage the development of a detailed cost database so that standard costing and pricing can be quickly and accurately achieved
    Obtain costs and technical data from operational departments and subcontractors to include in the database
    Provide input to Project Risk Assessment
    Attend as required technical clarification meetings with clients
    Attend as required lessons learnt meetings with operational and finance departments and implement the findings in the costing and tender preparation processes
    Providing leadership in implementation of Operational Integrity policies thus insuring the health and safety of the company's employees and clients, in line with the company's policies and procedures
    At all times, comply with the company's Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct

    Experience:
    Several years experience in relevant E&P service environment with demonstrated track record of delivery
    Technical and commercial experience within International markets
    Experience of tendering and proposal management in oilfield related services
    Working with dispersed team incorporating multi-cultural resources based in a variety of geographies
    Implementing Tender Management Software and working with CRM applications
    Demonstrated experience of leading teams and effectively managing implementation of new profitable business

    Education:
    Technically qualified to degree level or above in appropriate scientific, engineering, technical or commercial discipline
    Demonstrated fluency in written and spoken English

    Responsibilities will include:
    Liaise with in-country Superintendents, Company Reps and Supervisors to provide support and direction to offshore operations in order to ensure continuity of safe working conditions.
    Co-ordinate offshore activities relating to hydrocarbon processing, water injection and utility systems in accordance with Company Safety Management System and associated procedures to ensure they are carried out in a safe and effective manner and that environmental targets are met.
    Liaise with offshore and onshore departments to secure opportunities to maximise platform production performance.
    Liaise with and act as focal point for in country engineers and Reps.
    Troubleshooting as required in support of the offshore maintenance, construction and production operations.
    Managing the interface between the project team and the other departments and developing an integrated team and work programme.
    Leadership of integrated company project teams and selected contracting companies.
    Preparing and implementing contracting strategies and ongoing management of contract delivery and management of project risk and change.
    Preparing and managing the project cost and schedule and providing management reports on progress.
    Implementation and coordination of all aspects of projects which include subsea developments, topsides facilities upgrades and new field developments.
