Job Description

Support the development and continuously improvement of the HSE regulations and procedures.
Identify gaps in current organizational procedures, tools towards best practice for HSE.
Prepare HSE awareness training materials and conducts respective trainings.
Co-ordinate the reporting on HSE performance of the company’s HQ and affiliates
Co-ordinate the implementation of project documentation - Project Risk Register, HSE Plan and Delivery Schedule, country HSE guidance documentations, etc
Getting acquainted with and raising awareness of best practices throughout the Company Group.
Monitor the implementation of the Project HSE audit schedule and lead internal and external audits on request.
Assist subcontractors and third parties in compliance to the HSE
Undertake worksite inspections (incl. third party worksites) and provide feedback on observations.
Co-ordinate and support implementation of legal compliance regarding HSE both in HQ and affiliates
Monitor and where necessary lead incident investigations.
Represent HSE department in HAZOP and HAZID workshops.
Collect overview of legal requirements regarding HSE in EU and further project countries.
Active participation in personal safety and health programs.

    - Assist in the development and maintenance of key EHS documents as required including: SOPS, Emergency Response, EHS working practices, land transportation policy and other support documents as maybe required and as part of the Operations EHS Case.

    - Support activities associated with the EHS Management System, including: Incident Investigation, Project Safety Reviews,MOC,Audits,Inspections, Training and Risk

    - Assessments and update of the Risk Register.

    - Support the MOPO and SIMOPS protocols.

Starting at the end of August / early September, this role has the potential to continue on beyond the initial 6 month period. The role is based in the Perth CBD may require travel once a quarter.

    The role is specifically aimed at providing HSSE & SP support for all of the contracts and procurement (C&P) activity for both the project and operations teams. These contracts could range from high level project or maintenance contracts, to the professional services agreements for spares and stationary. The applicant will "Verify that Contract Holders monitor the HSSE requirements of the contract that are relevant to the competence and fitness to work of contractor staff as specified in Contractor HSSE management".

    Essential Skills/requirements:

      - Australian citizenship or Permanent residency
