  • Lead a team of Contactors personnel in executing Preservation activities.
  • Establish a Quality Preservation and cleanliness regime that will provide assurance that plant and equipment will remain in good condition and operable at all stages throughout the project.
  • Ensure the Quality Preservation and cleanliness regime is consistently implemented from Supplier Works through Fabrication, Installation, Commissioning, and final handover to Operations.
  • Implement and Maintain a Preservation Records System to demonstrate compliance to the preservation regime and assure integrity of plant and equipment.
  • Provide Technical input and approval for Contractor Preservation and pipe cleanliness Procedures during Construction phase, and manage the process during Commissioning phase.
  • Engage with Management, Engineering, Operations and Commissioning to establish expectations and requirements.
  • Provide coaching / mentor national and junior team members as necessary.
  • Engage with the engineering team to ensure preservation requirements are clearly identified.
  • Take ownership of and develop the preservation philosophy and strategy.
  • Develop suite of preservation checklists, routines and procedures consistent with the preservation philosophy and Strategy.
  • Review available databases / systems for monitoring and control of preservation regime, recommend and implement optimal system.

There is a careful plan to expand their Oil & Gas services team by bringing on board a versatile Commissioning Engineer. This company has a current hire of 2000 in Singapore.

This is a field-based position with extensive travel requirement for new installation projects. As a Commissioning Engineer, you are primarily responsible to look into all technical problems and keep the company's commercial position onsite. You will implement any design changes or modifications with the backing of the relevant engineering departments by making sure the product is to customer satisfaction and specification.
On EHS, you will be involved in the management of hazardous areas, including risk assessments, safe lifting operations, and continuously drive and support the zero harm culture onsite.

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with at least 3 years' experience in rotating equipment and essentially an understanding of the principles of gas turbine operations. You must be experienced in configuring / commissioning several PLC control systems i.e. fault finding skills on gas turbines, control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems.

This role will challenge your ability to make a lot of decisions autonomously and hence good communication / influencing skills are vital. You must also be able to travel flexibly and be based out of Singapore at times.
