Experience of testing, commissioning and operation of large, gas turbine driven, power generation sets
Experience of all mechanical equipment, utility and process systems for offshore platforms
Familiar with Jacket and Topsides Construction fabrication techniques
A proven track record in the oil and gas industry as a mechanical commissioning engineer
A detailed knowledge of industry standards, specifications and best practices.
Experience in management of contractors in respect to QA/QC practices

Job Description
Subject Matter Expert (SME) with proven experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup and operations in LNG Technology.
In collaboration with other SMEs (engineering, construction and project management), develops creative / innovative work processes and standards, and ensures compliance and safe practices for the Commissioning and Startup Services (CSS) Dept.
Responsible for planning and execution of all pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and initial operation activities on Major EPC projects (LNG) including home office, and project job sites (domestic, international).
The SME reports to the Global Commissioning and Start
- up Services Group with a matrix responsibility to the Project Directors during project execution.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Establishes and maintains global CSS processes, procedures and technical standards related to LNG Technology.
Provides technology guidance/oversight to the CSS Department and project teams.
Provides Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and feedback analysis for ongoing projects/proposals.
Interacts with the LNG Technology Business Unit counterparts, as required.
Provides guidance and development (training) for personnel to support ongoing and future project requirements.
Oversees preparation of (and approves) CSS estimates in support of proposal activities.
Supervises the commissioning managers in their assigned duties.

Qualifications:
Requirements Minimum of fifteen (15) years' experience in the LNG industry.

Intermediate software skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and Power Point.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer is desirable.
Familiarity with cryogenic units is desirable.

Establish, from the Sub-systems definition, the Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Task Register itemizing all Check Lists and Test Sheets
Participate in the preparation and review of specific procedures (hydro testing, flushing, special cleaning, punch list etc.)
Adapt if necessary the Pre-commissioning and Commissioning specification to the project specificity, by issuing Check Lists and Test Sheets for the project special equipment
Participate in the preparation and review of the Pre-commissioning and Commissioning dossiers
Participate in the preparation and review of a plan for spare parts, tools, consumables and resources mobilization
Participate in the preparation and review of VENDOR's assistance during Pre-commissioning and Commissioning
Define leak tests principles and programs together with Integration Team
